wall of notes

as soon as we got all settled and organized in our new place, chris came up with this "marvelous" idea for the blank wall in "his room" {a.k.a. the office}. and let me just say that when chris gets an idea in that brain of his it takes an awful lot to get it to go away! while i was thinking of what a perfect place it would be to someday put a crib and other baby type things {and no i'm not pregnant} he had other plans. while interviewing at penn state, he stayed with a BYU alum who had turned one of his walls into a giant whiteboard, perfect for doing large diagrams, writing notes and studying. the panelboard, as i'm now familiar with it, comes in large sheets 10 feet by 4 feet. chris was insistent that buying two {i know, not one but TWO} of these large white panelboards would help him be more efficient in his studies. i was very apprehensive and quite against the idea. i conceded to let him buy the things but even as he was nailing them to the wall i was arguing and reasoning why it wasn't a good idea. even though it doesn't always seem like it, i like having things very organized, uncluttered and clean. clean lines, clean walls, clean clean clean. and the idea of having a giant whiteboard in the office is exactly opposite of that. but regardless of my opinion in this matter i can now agree with one thing, it must be helping chris study, because he has yet to fail a test.
he even cut out a hole for the outlet...

I'm guessing Becca is jealous. She would probably love it if all our walls in our apt. were whiteboards that she could doodle on.
