kingsbury hall
board of MDs present at the ceremony
this weekend we had a ton of family in town for chris's white coat ceremony. it was a really neat way to start the whole process off. we all assembled in kingsbury hall {which is a small performing arts center} and listened to a couple speakers and watched as each member of the class of 2012 was cloaked in his/her first white coat and recieved their first stethescope as well. there were two speakers, a 3rd year student speaker and a well-known, revered alum. both gave excellent remarks about this supposed hell that is medical school. i came away from the whole thing excited and ready for the upcoming years, with an attitude that we can definitely do it. afterward we enjoyed refreshments on the beautiful campus and then some classy mexican cuisine at red iguana. chris and i want to give a huge thank you to everyone who made it out to support us: parents, grandparents, and siblings. we love you all!

I had no idea there is a white coat ceremony. I wish they had a paintbrush ceremony or something for art.
Now that Chris has a white coat and a stethoscope I think he should just call it quits. That's all the credibility I usually need to see from a Doctor when I put my trust in them.
Oh chris, you old doctor you. Tell your parents I love them.
Yay! Congratulations!!
