coveting creativity

i saw this on design*sponge yesterday and i haven't stopped thinking about it. i would really really like to experiment with sunprint fabric. i love the delicate pattern the doilies made on this example. too bad we're embarking on the long gray dark winter. i'll have to hope for an extra sunny day

hey girl. sunprint still works even when it isn't especially sunny, it just takes longer. Its actually from a photographic process, I used to do them allllllll the time. I don't know how much the fabric costs, but you can make paper that does it, and it might be more cost effective (and maybe better since it would be paper instead of fabric, less wrinkles,etc.). Would LOVE to do it together if you'd like!
