putting a little spring into my step

i have always loved fresh flowers of the non-rose variety. having them around completely brightens my day. last saturday when i woke up to snow, i couldn't help myself. i love tulips and these ones somehow wound up in my grocery basket...oops. every time i see them on the kitchen table i can't help but smile.

yes those are grapefruits and yes they have been absolutely luscious {thanks grandma!}
