yesterday, as everyone knows by now {hopefully} was mother's day. we went to church with chris' grandma and grandpa thacker. as is usually tradition on mother's day in the LDS community the ward had gotten a "token of appreciation" as this particular bishop called it, for each mother in the congregation. i'm not a mother by any means, but i somehow still ended up with one of these little guys. now i'm just hoping i can keep it alive in my dark basement!

yeah, that could be tricky keeping the plant alive. They gave us chocolate truffles. yum. And Eve was called the mother of all living before she had any kids, I think it works the same for us.
