brian regan concert

last weekend all the thacker kids minus damen and davis had a night out on the town. all seven of us crammed into brittneys truck and we went to P.F changs for dinner and then on to the brian regan concert. he was hilarious as usual and he had a bunch of new stuff which was fun. we've all been talking and laughing about it since then.

a couple weekends ago chris had the opportunity to be the best man in his friend ronnie's wedding. the ceremony and reception were at the boise botanical gardens {which, if you're not married and are looking for a beautiful place in boise to get it done, the botanical gardens are amazing!} chris spent the entire weekend running errands for the happy couple and towards the end of the festivities sunday, he was expected to give a speech. he stewed and stewed over it for a few weeks. because we've only really ever been involved with LDS weddings, the whole toast thing was new to chris, he had no idea what to say. minutes before the toast was to happen he was still trying to figure out what to say. but he delivered of course. the toast was brilliant and he and i both received lots of complements about it afterwards.

chris has been losing his hair little by little since we got married. don't know if it's stress or old age but he finally got sick of looking at his receding hairline in the mirror and we shaved all his hair off the other day. no guard, just the blade. when our niece tylee came over and chris was holding her, we thought it was funny that they were both baldies.
